It is easy to feel disempowered when you are going through a fertility challenge, you trust your FS (fertility specialist) and give them the power to suggest what drugs you should be taking and then you are on their time schedule. It is amazing how we place doctors and specialists on the pedestal and do not question their decisions. Well learning from our fertility challenge we too felt this way, we did everything humanly possible and we kept going attempt after attempt expecting a different result, no wonder we were at a loss after so much disappointment and heart-ache.
So we became our own masterchef, we took charge of our situation and started asking questions, spoke to other people in alternative fields and formulated our very own conclusion plus the power of positive thinking and really knowing that we were going to have a child.
It is easy to say when you have your baby in your arms, I know yet I want to convey hope and determination to my readers who are new to this journey or have tried, failed and are wondering what is next?
In essence you need to take control of your situation and be a master of your health inside and out. You need to give up certain things that prevent conception, and know that you are doing everything humanly possible. If your naturopath tells you to eat organic, then do it.
If your doctor tells you to avoid Bikram yoga, then do it
If you are self sabotaging and eating bad foods, and too much sugar, then why do it?
If you need to loose weight isn’t this the perfect motivator to do just that?
If you need to get a water filter, then buy one.
If you need to use greener-cleaning products then just find the alternatives.
If you need to under go a detox program, there is no better time than the present.
Become your own chef in your life and create the best possible environment. Eat really healthy foods, eliminate café, chocolate, alcohol, and not just reduce consumption just stop all together.
The result is so worth it, all you need is self discipline, support and knowing each day you get closer to your dream.
