When you go through a crisis, this impacts all aspects of your life, emotional, physical, spiritual, and all your relationships. This is when you are in 'flight/fight' mode and you are simply reacting to what is right in front of you.
Take infertility for instance, you know you want your body to transform and yet may have reservations about what this will really mean to your looks, your confidence and your figure. Or perhaps you may still carry past issues related to your miscarriage/loss of child you were carrying. This great loss needs to be dealt with and you need to grieve. What options do you have to deal with the past and let go so you can gradually move on. As we stay in the past we just keep creating the drama and stay in the crisis.
One ideal way of coping is to keep a journal. To write your thoughts and just get them out of your system. Then not look at the past entries, or just write and rip out that page so you do not read it over and over again.
And one other way to get out of being so reactive is to be GRATEFUL for what you have today. This changes your energy and you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Smile and tackle one obstacle at a time. It is amazing how you can change your life around by changing the way you think and becoming positive in the process.
